OK thanks John. I've been grouting tile all day and my arms are now officially fallen off at the shoulders. I am in fact typing this with my nose -

OK! Now you gone and confused me proper.

How do the stars work? Gave ***** to John's Iron Man via the star options under his pictures and now the options have disappeared. I wanted to give some to Ron for his 'rescue' build and the stars don't appear at all.

I'm also still having problems viewing multiple pictures. It seems completely random whether a picture is enlarged when I click to view it. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. It took me four attempts to view the third picture in John's post - I had to keep moving to another one and come back to that one.

I'm not sure what the problem is with the pics, which post is the problem and what browser are you using?

As for the stars, they only show in the first post of any of the completed forums, when Ian moved them for some reason some of the threads are missing them, I will have a look see if its anything that can be fixed.

I'm still having the issue that half the photos, even within the same thread, want to open in another tab and the other half open slowly in the viewer. Sometimes when the viewer freezes and I close it and click the image again it'll open in a new tab instead.

Happens on all machines here. (All bang up to date)

            Win 7 - explorer 10

            Win 7 - chrome

            Win xp - explorer 8

            Mac osx - Firefox

            Android 4.3 tablet - chrome

I have noticed that the viewer slows down when its loading larger size uploaded images

If you have a batch of smaller sized images the viewer flows nicely.

Hi John. I have the same problem with the pictures in every thread that has multiple images. I'm using IE 10 on Windows 7.

I've yet to find one that I have a problem with, that's why a link would help.

Had a look on this thread and I don't think this has been asked but - what's the difference between the "recent posts" and the "new posts" buttons. I mostly use the recent posts button because when I use the new posts button some of the threads I've been following aren't there ?

Think I've worked it out, clicking on the small picture is different to clicking on the file name, clicking on the file name will open 1 picture, clicking on the image will start the multi picture viewer

Clicking the image opens either tab or viewer here, no rhyme or reason to it, happens on any thread with images.

I can't get the viewer not to work if I click on the image, I will try it on other browsers and OS's tomorrow see if it acts different.

OK John. Got that thanks. However, when I click on the image I do get the slide show which is where the issue lies. Clicking on the image in the thread opens the slide show but not the first picture. In order to see the enlarged picture of the first image in the viewer, I need to click on the second image in the viewer. I could live with that, but I don't always get a new picture when clicking on the viewer images.

When I tried to look at the pictures in the Iron Man thread, clicking the second viewer image gave the enlarged picture of the first image, the third viewer image gave the enlarged picture of the second image as I've said. But when I clicked the fourth image, the picture of image two didn't change. I had to go to viewer image five to get the picture of the fourth one, and then back to viewer image four to get the third picture. This sort of thing happens in virtually every slide show I try to view. I can't see any pattern as each time I open a slide show, I seem to get different results. ie It's not always the third picture which doesn't show. Sometimes I even miss two or three consecutive pictures when clicking the viewer images.

Using the next image arrow on the right hand side gives the same sort of haphazard result. The picture sometimes doesn't change and clicking the arrow again moves to the following picture so I miss one. Even using the back arrow on the left doesn't always take me back to the previous image.

Sorry to be such a pain on this, but it's really annoying if you're trying to follow a build thread and you get the pictures in the wrong sequence.
