I've had a quick search and can find a few mentions about peoples other hobbies but no thread asking the question that I can find.....
Now I've finished the red dwarf I'm having a week or so dossing about doing some other stuff.
I used to shoot on land back in England, had a section 1 FAC with a few tasty rifles but land isn't available up here in my area so I surrendered the certificate and sold the bang bangs.
I still manage to get out fishing and its a bit better up here as there's no licence to buy and there's plenty of sea to get dinner from.
Archaeology and paleontology still hold a fascination and I get out when I can and root round the odd field ... last outing I came back with mosasoar, plesiosaur and sand shark teeth from a chalky beach head just south of Edinburgh.
Used to blat bikes and cars round tracks on race days but now I'm too old and knackered.
My old business was mainly computer servicing, websites, graphics etc .. gave that up to relocate here but still keep up with the computer scene as much as I can and its nice to be able to do things at my own pace instead of having customers on my back 24/7
I paint a bit still, mainly watercolour and of course modelling plays a big part.
Elaine and myself breed royal pythons and have a selection of other reptiles and amphibians, still have a hundred or so tarantulas left over from when we were breeding them as a source of income, these remaining are just kept as pets now.
So that's me .... what are the rest of you up to when not working or modelling?
