    Pe nightmare !

Today I have had a right nightmare with the pe for some reason everything I made just would not work , the day started ok just fitting some steps to the boat deck of Warspite but that all changed when I began work on the cranes , I read the instructions which were prity straight forward but it was a case of you can't do step one until you've done step two and I ended up having to pull step one apart well I didn't intend to actually pull It apart it just fell apart , but I managed to piece it together and moved onto the crane arm , things started well just had to to bend the sides and afix the underside , now this is where I lost the plot ! The underside wouldn't fit properly and when it did it stuck to me finger and in removing it I knocked it out of position ! Anyway I managed to get it reasonably done not perfect but not too bad , I then put it to one side , I then returned to the crane and put a few little pieces on and I started getting over the frustration I had built up with the crane arm so picked up the crane arm only to find out I'd superglued it to the desk

I'm sure we all know the feeling!

Only this afternoon I attempted to glue some resin exhausts into the fuselage half of a Fw 190. After holding it in place I discovered that I had glued the exhausts and the fuselage to my finger, and I do mean glued. I managed to free myself with some acetone based nail varnish remover but that has leaked into the cockpit tub and buggered up the paintwork. All fixable of course but I can't honestly say I've had much fun

I suspect you feel the same way!

    Cheers

    Steve

Yes Steve I did , I have somewhat recovered now I used a glue realese and I'm hopeubg the glue sain on the parts won't be moticable once painted , the crane for the other side of the boat I've decided not to put the underside to it , I don't think it will be noticed

Jeez, I thought I had an off day regarding building a Apollo astronaut on a little dio. Would he hell go together and then, all painted he fell over backwards...just left him. The super fine dust clumped too much, and looks like soil although it is a light grey. The fella then fell all over the dio as I was trying to fit him...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. WHY DO WE PUT OURSELVES THROUGH THIS!

I think sometimes the great modelling God looks down, points his/her (edging my bets, if it was a woman though, nothing would go right-don't think she would be a modelling fan) finger, picks a modeller and decides that today you must learn humility in modelling and not get big headed or too big for ya shoes.

Thing is Alan, my disability hasn't been too bad today so my hands are not shaking...so in this case, it was the chuffing model not playing ball instead of me.
