How about a Formula One, or motor racing inspired scheme. JPS black and gold, decals should be available.

Or how about something inspired from nature?

It's an aircraft, so you could paint it to look like an eagle, or falcon, or hawk, or gold & blue mackau... a turkey.. i dunno.

Or go the other way and paint it to look like a whale or dolphin, for contrasting irony.

you could try out a "ghost plane", an ethereal phantom from the other realms...

I don't know if you like sport peter but why not paint it the colours of your favourite team and use the teams crest as the markings ,
