Wait till you get to detailing the cockpit numerous swear words and hunting for bits of pe that ping out of the tweezers which I flattend literally with the application of a enginners ball pein hammer in the troublesome area wouldn't reccomend it only for therapeutic reasons

Another lousy fit for the engine assembly held in place by force with tape whilst the glue sets more filler required I reckon after it has stuck
Yep I was correct huge gap around engine mount and fuselage so more filler should look ok when sanded smooth and repainted etc While I was at it I went over the entire fuselage join and filled in all gaps ready for priming and finishing with foil thats the plan

Latest update found I had to cut off the hinges to the airbrakes and then cement the airbrakes in closed position and then sand down the cut off hinges so they would fit back into the fuselage as the airbrakes were rarley if ever seen in the open position when the aircaft was at rest on the ground
Whilst I was at it I decided to paint the spine red as this kit will be foil covered no masking was deemed neccasry for this point
I also painted the engine exhaust and still have some pe to apply to finish them offAttached FilesComment

Tonights simple task join the 2 tail pieces together really no this has to be the worst fitting pair of plastic mouldings in history as you can see from attached picture 6 clamps in attemp to seal the join which when it is set will have huge gaps in it requiring more filler I had actually painted these 2 items thinking a nice simple join and just a touch up now looks like a complete strip off and repaint I just hope the wings are better some hope!!!!
Fitted tailfin oh dear gap by the join to fuselage spine and all along bottom edgeAttached FilesComment

More filling like I said absolutely apalling fit as can be seen from these pictures
Hours later filler sanded off and 2nd coat of red applied looking much better now any remaing gaps should disapear when the foiling is done

Moved onto next stage foiling only done a small bit to see how it would go its not difficult not to my way of thinking you just need patience and a methodical way of doing the same thing over and over
The effect is to me way better than what I could achive with paint and it requires no priming just a clean plastic surface so the glue sticks to the foil
