Just gone through this thread and it highlights one of the greatest frustrations I have with the hobby. `you have some wonderful detailing, panel lines etc. Then it all doesn't fit, so you fill and sand and by the time you're finished, no lovely detail and panel lines. Makes you wonder why they bother in the first place.

Goodness me, that kit intake is pretty crap. Nice recovery so far Dave, I;'m sure it'll be fine but I understand the frustration. Not looking forward to the intakes on any of my Tornados (Italeri, Hasegawa or Revell!)

ive just put the fin together. Theres an insert for the RWR that will need filling and sanding at the leading edge of the fin . Theres also a small part which fits under it at the back of the fin. Its marked on the instructions as part ‘D79’. I had trouble finding it. And eventually located it on sprue ‘C’.

Yes. It took some finding Ian.

So not only do Revell give you a model to build, there's a game of 'Hide and Seek' in there too. Bonus.

Spoilers and wing root fairings glued on. These parts are a good fit.

Quality work Dave. The kit may have a few fit issues but the build is progressing really well.
Have you decided whether you’ll be doing the 1/32 version next?
I should be finishing my Eagle Transporter over the next couple of weeks then i’m tackling either the big Tonka or Ron’s ‘anti aircraft GB’.
Cheers

I haven't decided yet. I'm building this one in my digs up in Glasgow. And I've just reserected my stalled Airfix 1/24 Typhoon build back home. So I won't be starting anything new soon

I've assembled the parts for trailing edge flaps down. There are 4 parts for each flap. It took a bit of working out how they fitted together as the instructions are not very clear. And I can't for the life of me work out how to glue them to the model. I'm going to take a break from building this kit for a while as I'm not really enjoying it. I've only got this far because I don't like to be beaten. And I really wanted a 1/48 ADV. I'm going to make something else and then come back to it.

It's sometimes better to take a break Dave, but try not to leave it too long, has you tend to forget about it altogether.
