Bargain there Si, be aware of the large sprue gates on small suspension parts! I did the tracks using the jog which worked well but did the lot in one go and it was drove me mad lol, would suggest in small sections Si!

I know you will make a better job than me of it!

    Hi Mr B

Heard good things about the bronco, good luck sir!

Well Bob i've finally gone and bought an armour kit. Did any Stug's have propellers fitted? Wanna see if i can do it? lol

Ordered the Tamiya Stug IV from SMS. So guess i'll have to buy the Star Decals for th SS version now. Looking forward to the GB but i have a feeling mine will be heavily covered in mud to hide mistakes

Wouldn’t that be the B-25G or, if you only consider automatic weapons to qualify for that title, the Mosquito FB Mk. XVIII?

I'll resume my search once I get back from France.

Both of the Tammy's and the miniart I'd picked have already been purchased by others so unless I find another short-barrelled early version we'll be getting more than one version of the same kit.

Might be a good thing as it'll push me to try my best

                    Morning Andy,

Totally agree Si, build what YOU want Andy. But I would say that the miniart kit is the most complex, especially the suspension. First bash at armour i would say Tamiya. Built so many do not need the plans lol

i always think its great to see different people doing the same kit, just to see how people approach same stages differently

once did a GB where we all had the identical kit (porsche 962), was a fascinating GB
                        Per Ardua

We'll ride the spiral to the end and may just go where no ones been

The 1/35 Tamiya was my first choice as I figured it would give me an easier ride. The miniart looks great too but as Bob says some of it looks a bit tricky for me.

Still plenty of time to change my mind but currently considering staying with the Tamiya, throwing as much after market as possible at it, and seeing what sticks, lol.

In for a penny and all that

Andy. I've gone for the Tamiya as well because it will be an easier build for a first time armour guy like myself. I'd love to have a crack at a Dragon/HobbyBoss/Meng kit but i feel i would just ruin something that expensive on a 'first go' at armour. But i do feel further armour purchases coming on. After all i just HAVE to have at least one Tiger I (Late), Tiger II, Jagdpanther and 88mm Flak 36/37 in my collection lol

I'm pretty new to armour myself, well new to every genre really lol, but there are a couple of other GB coming up that I will try and participate in and have armour/tracky things in mind for both.

So hopefully by the time we get around to this I'll have had a bit of practice.

                                Hi all

Please remember this is a FUN build, i am in the same boat (plane) with the He 219.

I consider myself a very average modellor but please ask for help. There is no marking or negative comments on this GB!!
