    Steve .
Glad you are feeling slightly better, a shame about the constant interruptions, maybe you should say that modelling is all part of the recovery process.:smiling2:

Glad to read you're on mend Steve, hopefully the recovery is swift:thumb2:.
Like John said, it's part of the process:tongue-out3:

Bloomin' visitors! My problem is that I have to clear the table every time someone wants to eat.

Than you all for your kind wishes, and yes John, sitting at a table is actually part of my recovery schedule, as I need to "train" my new knee to bend and sit without pain whilst at a desk/table!
It still doesn't bend that far without pain for more than a few minutes, thus the lap tray work.
Wheels done, and as they are Dragon wheels, I have used a fresh 11P blade and cut off the right 1/2 of the final U of the CONTINENTAU, that Dragon print on their wheels, to correct the name, you probably Cant see it!

Next, will be getting the tracks done and researching how the rear deck should look?
The PE has loads of replacement brackets for the towing cable, but there isn't a cable in the kit?

I also want to build the tracks and wheels as a single unit like a 1:72 kit, so they can be painted and the tub can be weathered easily.
I have done this with both Tigers I and II, and a T34.
No more visitors, I have been told, until the big guy with the red suit LOL.
            Perhaps a little more soon?
Time to dig out the reference books.
            Thanks for popping by

Back in the saddle Steve - great stuff. Must be quite strange having to learn to walk all over again. All of that PE wouldn't be on my menu for a speedy recovery though, I must say.

                Morning
Sorry Peter, I didn't realise it had been that long!
I have been working on the track links, 3 attachments each, all 3 hinges needed filing down to fit the opposite side of the hinge, and 1/2 the tracks have had their horns drilled out.
It's taken all this time, working on a lap tray, and this is the result

I have done both sides, with all the wheels attached a'la 1:72.
I have done this with a T34/85 & have assembled all the overlapping wheels on both a Tiger I and II, previously.
I find it easier to deal with whilst painting, weathering and adding mud.
Not everyone's "cup of T" but its mine.
Also, I have removed the clamps and clasps for the tow cables, the curved ones at the bottom have had the clamp removed as the curved piece will be far superior in plastic to what can be created with flat PE, one of many times kit plastic "looks" better than PE

One done, one to do, a comparison shot.
I'll add the remaining PE parts at the end, as they are all too fragile, even with super glue, to survive the handling required to join top and tub then attach the track guards.
I shall make up the PE pieces I intent using ready for the final assembly.
I have some additional nuts to add, but my PE nuts are all in the attic, which is up a 7 step attic ladder, a little out of reach with my new knee for the moment.
Perhaps in a week or 2.
Hopefully steadier progress now, especially as some of the chaps have finished already!
I have some other stuff to share too.
                More soon?
                Steve H

It's been longer than I realised!
                  Sorry!
I got embroiled in the minutiae of some of the PE detail and a difficult to use Eduard upgrade set!
One point that niggled was this

                    Hi Steve,
the photos at the bottom are of a later Stug than a B - vent covers on engine deck
Pretty sure the Eduard ones with the flip up flap and holes in, so lights can still be see, are correct for the early Stugs.
I have just got to work though so can’t check my books

Well organised reference library there Steve, most impressed with the research.
Of course I can't comment on your question but the built looks to be going well .
Instructions for PE some times just leave me blank ! It's easy for a designer to draw something then expect every one else to know what he meant .

Steve - what are the white squares on the right? Not seen that feature
There should I think be recessed screw heads there instead
The rivets on the roof should also be recessed screw heads I believe
