    Evening

result of my first bash at making removable link and length tracks, used Tamiya extra thin glue but that gives me a bad headache so windows open and it was a bit nippy. learnt to leave for about 5 mins before bending into shape. then longer before trying to remove off the hull. The other side should be easier  You can see where the gap is to enable removal

quite pleased but the poly caps made the sprockets a bit hard to pull off so on the other side I will try a drop of washing up liquid, works a treat when working with rubber, no sniggering chaps

Hi Andrew, after doing the second track the trick is time, i used tamiya extra thin ( i find it very smelly and gives me headaches, so window open) and left for about 3 to 4 mins. Becareful when wrapping around the sprockets, it does not stick to them!

Thanks Steve, second set look better, feel more confindent now

                    Hi bob,

Looks like your off to a flying start :nerd:. I like the idea of having the track pre-formed like that.....makes thing’s a lot easier.

Hi Si, first time with this way of doing the tracks, working so far and now very carefully stored!

Hi Graeme, great to have you onboard. Now putting this to one side as i have planes to make, busy bee:thumb2:

                          Morning Bob,
Saw this in hobbycraft last night, they wanted £48 for it :surprised:

Could resist a peep in the box, must say it does look good:thumb2:

Morning Si, amazed over the last few years how the price of kits have gone up. But £48, you can get it cheaper than that, but still not the cheapest but the quality is typical tamiya, excellent

Far outside Wouter, but the might Stug is always about with the Stug GB on the way! Also have the Nashorn and Wespe in the stash, enjoyed building the Marder hence the hummel, just hope it goes ok
