So sorry I'm so late, thought I had commented at the beginning. What a superb job as always, I bet watching you spray a car is a joy.

Thanks John, great to have you along.

I'm sure I've got a couple of videos of me painting somewhere, I might try and dig them out.

I've a Ferrari to paint in the morning. No idea which model, they all look the same to me :tears-of-joy:

Great job on the Old String bag, Andy, paintwork is exquisite.
On your day job are masking part of your preparation to spraying?

          Cheers,
          Wabble

Thanks Richard. I've managed to knock a few things off and damage the paint while attempting the rigging, but I should be able to hide it all in the photos :smiling3:

Yes, often the prep and masking is the bigger part of the job. I'm old school so can do most parts of the process.

Thanks guys. I'll take a look at that Ian.

Well the rigging is done, along with the antenna wire & control wires/strings that I did with ez line, and she has her boots on.

I wouldn't use the Tamiya PE wires again as I just can't get them to sit straight no matter what I do, but managing them at all was a win for me.

Still very much WIP with some detail painting to do and plenty of touch ups after wrestling with the rigging, but it's starting to take shape.

Oh, and I think it'll need an engine...

                              Thanks Mark.

A few more bits have been added. It's getting more delicate by the minute!

Strength isn't about what you can do, rather it's about overcoming what you thought you couldn't do.
