Beautiful paint job Colin! I love a good Italian scheme , ive been toying with the idea of an Italian air force GB for ages , but there always seemed to be too many GBs going on , maybe I’ll suggest it for later in the year

Struts, not exactly a fine art on this kit.
As you can see, they're are all at some amazing angle, which would be ok if they were positively located, but they're not.

Parts 12a and 14a looked like they would support the wing by themselves, even with a poor fit. So that's what I did. They were attached to the upper wing, left to dry for a while, but not fully dry, then forced to make contact with their relevant holes on the fuselage. Then gather a load of paint bottles around the wing to stop it moving, and walk away for two days.
            It worked.

My plan is now to slide the remaining struts into place, which should work as they are all at an angle.

Well done with those horrible looking struts!

Coming along nicely Colin. So much work involved in these Bi Planes.

Well just a bit more, however, not as much as this little thing I did a few years ago. At least the Falco has practically no rigging. Click image for larger version

Previously I mentioned I needed to tone down the very bright paintwork. My plan was to use a grey filter, I think it worked.
              Before applying the filter,

After a bit of gardening today, I might actually get this finished.

Very nice Colin, it looks great 👍

Much better after the filter I would say.

Cheers Joe. I nearly went with a brown filter, but grey looks to have worked better.

My choice of grey was a bit 'iffy', but it worked.

It was a bit on the bright side before the filter.

In more ways than one. I'm actually flying one of these in Warthunder at the moment, and it's ok.

This is the result of about 4 very thin coats. The first one or two, saw no change. But I was playing careful, with very diluted layers.

Cheers Paul, it was a bit of a slow job.

Thank you all for stopping by. But it's done, all finished. Pictures are in the completed GB section.
