Ok chaps managed to attach after loosening three bits, the wire to the horn. Its now in red primer and I can see some issues with the holes filled in on the fenders and some poor cleaning
        in some areas

Any mishaps will be covered by the weathering. All looking good so far. I have ordered up the fishing tubing stuff. Looking forward to trying it out :thumb2:

Hi Steve good advice, it takes time threading the wire into the tubing but got there, in the end lol

as I am building another Stug A I wil have to address the fender anyway

Looked in the attic and the last owners of the house must have left a pile of Stug kits and books????

                Stugs, ugly things
                :flushed:

                  Well done Bob

I have also dashed off to E-bay for the fishing tube things ready for the next build.

The fender checker plate is a real witch to clean up, anything handy to cover it baggage wise

Good progress with a primer on.

Have fun but don't over do it

                  Regards

                  Steve H

                        Morning Bob

Something that I have done before Aber have a checker plate over lay for Pz III fenders

Not the full fender, which is a work of art to build in brass, bit it is a great add on when all the tools are changing places leaving loads of holes to fill

Just the thing for next time.

Carefully places weathering and luggage will be an great fix for your Stug III A version 2

                        Have a good weekend

                        Regards

                        Steve H

Much quicker to do and neater fit, more work to do I think, but not sure if its fully in scale??? I have tried it on 1/35 plans and it looks ok when placed on the plans
I have to try to run another wire to the horn, that might be fun lol

                              Very generous Peter

The 'conduit" will need to be bit longer next time

                                Bob,
That looks like it is progressing into a work of art. Many thanks for the tip on the fishing tube, had been wondering how the replicate that myself, well done.
                                Cheers, Mike.
