As far as I can make out from my reference pic the roof frame was up or at least not in the stowed position. That meant I had to make it. I watched a video on how the frame was erected and it explained everything. So armed with wire, brass sheet and solder I managed to cobble the frame together. The two parts of the frame hinge so I can position later. And the whole thing is removable for painting.
The Pioneer tools. have also been added
The windscreen and dashboard have been assembled as a small sub assembly and also been detailed.
Finally the passenger seat was narrowed a bit and detailed. I had to narrow it as I have made the generator base a bit to wide.
More wizardry mate.Soldering is something i have never tackled.Ive seen some use it on youtube builds on trackguards on a king tiger etc.Makes me laugh as the U.S guys pronounce it as Sodering!!!.Good lord we dont need that.Hope you are keeping cool.
Richard, it is a lot easier than you think. I use a gas torch and solder paste. Give it a go practice on some scrap first. Just make sure everything is clean as solder doesn't like dirt. Got ot love our cousins across the pond.
I would just like to thank everyone that is leaving a like etc but this site doesn't allow you to see who's leaving them, unless I'm missing something.

The Jeep is pretty much finished now. I wanted it to look very lived in given it was a working vehicle in Burma. I still need to investigate vehicle markings I have the croc under the Palm showing an Australian 1Armd. Div. I have some tac signs and numbers from the same decal sheet but they are not as you would imagine for this vehicle, but I will probably use them as the chances or meeting someone who is an expert on the Australian army is remote lol.
