Thanks Jim, I have revisited some of the additions and reworked them.

I am enjoying this trailer build, it just goes to show that sometimes the simplest kit can be the most fun.

I had to remove a heavy seam all around the frame and clean up flash from lots of areas. Next the moulded mudguard supports were removed as they were terrible and new ones fashioned from pewter strip and punched rivets. The tool box had a PE catch and hinges added from the PE stash. Finally the solid and badly moulded front mount was removed and using a bit of etch sheet a new one was fashioned and fitted.

Well all the assembly is pretty much done now ready for paint. The last few additions have been done.

It is all just dry fitted at the moment and the wheels still need some work on them.

The stand had the cross member drilled out as this is hollow in my reference pics.

The pin that holds the box on the frame still needs to have a chain fitted.

I hope you all had a great Christmas and that Santa was good to you.

Managed to get the basic paint on the build, now ready for detailing. When that has been done it will get a coat of Klear ready for the weathering.

Nice stripey look. A great canvas for the weathering.

Thanks Jim, I am quite happy with the stripes, there is one that is a little heavy but hopefully the weathering will tone it down.

Well Paul, what can a man say that hasn't already been said.........And you thought I wasn't keeping an eye on you buddy. All I have to say is "I Love It" and I do wonder how you are going to paint all the little tidbits if they are glued on. Shovel handle comes to mind, but I'm sure you'll handle it............Hope you two had a happy Ho, Ho, Ho too.............

                                Prost
