It doesn’t seem worse than a lot of 1:35 scale workable track sets. Judging by the first photo the parts aren’t as small as many are in those, and at least these go together without glue so you don’t run the risk of them not working either.

At least you didn’t do what most armour modellers do: build a whole tank and only then start on the tracks with a dozen parts per link
