About where the Sea King is going to be placed, I suppose there will be a pontoon, a smaller unit (a frigate?) with a landing deck or any other "low enough flattish floaty thing" (sorry for this too much technical term :smiling4: ) coming from somewhere and apt to receive the dripping chopper.

HI Andy  yes i think you would be right as these big cruisers would have a smaller ship with it in a battle group something like a type 12 leander class so yes i suppoce they would hold the chopper on the crane till a smaller an lower flight deck comes an then winch it on there for the chopper to be inspected an such well i never thought of that well i am gettin old im afraid an the ole brain ai'nt what it use to be lol :rolling: :smiling5: you Andy are certainly on the ball an cheers for your nice comments on the crane a lot of work there but it was worth it
      cheers for lookin in

Chris, your work is really fantastic and I have been following this from the beginning. I'm so sorry I haven't commented more, but your work Sir, is way over my head. Light years in fact. Your attention to detail, your knowledge about the electronics, wiring, wood working and just plain building this thing is phenomenal. I sit back, look in and have to keep picking my jaw up from the floor over your build. You are truly dedicated to getting this thing in the water, no matter what life throws at you. Respect Sir!!!.....
I do hope Jen is recovering well and not getting on your nerves or you on hers. BTW, I think it's teatime buddy, so get crackin' with the kettle...........

              Prost

There you go Chris.........when this one's done you'll just have to start another build to keep your purpose in life. Or you and Jen will have to spend all your time sailing Tiger on the pond so you don't get bored. By the way, I was looking at the pics of the crane on the Blake and it appears that the crane operator is seated.....were you planning on installing an operators seat or am I mistaken? Just curious, not being nit picky. :thumb2:

The possible solution to the guns not dropping wouldn't involve knicker elastic would it? :smiling2: as soon as I read about the problem I thought a very light spring might do it?
Gerry don't encourage Chris to use knicker elastic , he got into enough trouble when he made off with Jen's fishnets !

That crane Chris would make a kit on its own ! You certainly have many skills mate , reading that some parts of the crane are brass must mean solder . A black art units self , so well done .

Matron sends her regards, the last time anyone saw her she was changing some spark plugs on the bike . There was enough bad language coming from the shed to match any of the crew on your ship .

Can you here Jen coming as she walks about ?
