It's a hangover from the original Trumpeter 1907 Dreadnought! The sprue 'F' was replaced by 'G' for the 1918 model - Trumpeter missed removing this in their later instructions! That's the difficulty of producing 3 models of the same ship, with different fittings at different stages of her life! ( My 1907 model has sprue 'F' )

              Brian,
just because it's on the fret doesn't mean you have to use it! I regularly miss off the tiny parts, and those that don't add anything to the model!

                      Coming along nicely.
One thing though. I doubt having the superstructure on the keel will catch on amongst naval architects!!! Or maybe it will?? :tongue-out: :smiling5::smiling5::smiling5:

Shiny is not a good look but its only for the weathering

Not been in the model room for a while 1 waiting for the deck from Aus and 2 getting all my fishing gear ready for the match season.
Any way did a bit this morning as the postie delivered my deck.
