I too would like that to be available. It's very useful to be able to easily find all the new/recent posts. Those that have been posted since my last visit. I may very well have simply not found it yet. Apart from that I'm getting the hang of it and it's early days yet.

I'd just be happy if I could go straight to the first unread post in a topic when I open it, like the last place did.

Opening a topic and having to scroll through every post from the very beginning is a bit of a chore.

I know it's very early days but I'm already tearing out what little hair I have left

There is a upload from url button

Thanks John....managed to work it out fine and have just uploaded a photo in latest acquisition. I just use the same process as before....Flickr creates the full URL without need to use the URL link but I should have thought of that.

Here at the top.......its anavigation bar on an Android device so if you are on apple or non android it might be missing

Starting to play around with the new site. So far so good, once I increased the number of posts per page option.

It's going to be a bit of a learning curve but loads less when I initially joined the forum 3 years ago.

I like it.

I also spent my whole career in the area of IT business applications so I'm fully aware of implementation issues and teething problems.

Horizontal chevrons take you to latest post
vertical chevrons take you to the last post you read with new ones to read following

It seems that something changed yesterday with the picture uploading mechanism and it's much easier to use than it was initially.

Now here’s a strange thing…..I don’t get the chevrons Paul has posted a snapshot of in posts I view. However, if someone has quoted them in their post, they appear in the quote, and they work. Probably an anomaly between Apple and Android operation. I also don’t get the New topics and Forums/Groups tabs I can see on his screenshot. To get those I have to return to the home page.
