Just a general poll to see roughly what demographics we all are....

My 95-year old mother says that I never grew up beyond the age of 17 - coincidentally, that was the age that I joined the Royal Navy! Now I am a 17-year old who is aged 67.

It seems a real pity that younger demographics seem unwilling, or unable, to apply themselves to a constructive hobby. Not necessarily this one but any others that would help deal with their 'anxieties' we hear so much about.

Being retired gives you time for hobbies and so that's probably why so many of us are geriatrics. When I was working I certainly didn't have time to spare - working hours coupled with running a house, raising a family etc. In many families today both partners work, have to work, again eroding spare time.

Personally my brain assures me I'm in my 20s/30s but my back says otherwise. My back tends to agree with my birth certificate
