I have a 1/48 scale train layout with structures, buildings and landscaping that's about close as you can get to 1/43 for me. I also have several 1/43rd scale trucks built. but as you say no vehicles so I’m not gonna bother post them.

British O gauge model railways are made to 1/43 scale so try suppliers of that railway scale Tony. Should be a lot out there, but only of UK (mostly railway) outline. It’s also called 7mm (to the foot) scale by railway enthusiasts. Continental and US gauge O are made to 1/48, as Lee says, so they won’t suit what you are asking for.
