Another bit of a monster for your critique. I’ve had a bit of a pause mid way throught, as I found a very good 3D printer setup for the grand total of £75, so though that was worth a play with! I’ve been trying with a few bits that I wasn’t happy with (smoke bombs the first 3D replacement, as well as the explosive vharge canister). I need to re-learn CAD, but at the moment there seems to be almost all you need available to download. Have also been scratching a few bits that were missing from the kit (around the gearbox). The much improved gurtsacks are from AFV Modeller, except the empty one which I ‘manipulated’ with a very heavy set of pliars.

I love it! I gotta get me a 1/16 something.
A shame though that so much wonderful interior detail goes unseen after completion.
I wonder if one could attempt an upper hull lift off version to show it off?

Jim.

Thanks Jim. They are great fun. A very different weathering approach needed. I'm going to keep the upper hull separate on this one, maybe raised and supported by some clear plastic rod?

Not much progress lately, work has been too busy, but some tinkering with some small details. This one I'm pleased with, the blanket. Plagiarised from a gent making a 1/16 jeep, but I'm pleased with the way it turned out.
