Update on Ron

Just read the sad news, Ron was a true inspiration to so many of us, his modeling skills were indeed superb
and especially his photographic talent was unique and had a touch of reality not seen very often.
When I first started photographing and posting threads I implored him to share his technique and
was sure it was a complicated process of specific lighting with tripods and all sorts of studio equipment
that would be difficult to even make a feeble attempt to replicate.
When he explained he just had a camera, a few books to set it on for different heights and angles, simple
assorted backdrops and a dining room table with a regular ceiling light he gave me the confidence
to just get after it.
May God rest his soul and somehow assuage Justine's and his families sorrow.
Our thoughts and prayers are with them,

Just read this as I haven't been active for a while.
A very sad day. Ron will be missed. His model making, especially dioramas was very inspiring and his post model photography outstanding.
He was also very helpful to me when I restarted this hobby about 4 years ago.
My thoughts are with his family.
