Primed and top coated the lower superstructure and deck fittings prior to the wood deck and then used VMS cleaner and etch primer before spraying the pe with mr surfacer. Next a new experience, brush painting the pe decks. Have AK wood deck paint, so using that

All the turrets, funnel and hangers etc are ready to be fitted, so the end is not far off. Next build is waiting
 
Right, hull finally painted, not accurate colours but please remember. This a practice build, so using paint i have in stock.

now why does it have to be a pratice build to me as to me its as good as it gets an you sir are way past practiceing building on your models as John said it is a big step for you since you uesd to be crazy on stugs BUT you have jumped onto building warship like i do an your models an painting are every bit as good as mine an in some cases even better than mine an i rate myself a fairly good moddeler so you sir are even better so no more of this practinceing you are a brilliant moddler although a bit of a slow builder but you have had an still got a lot of problems but keep these exscellent models comin slow or otherwize so REMEMBER YOU ARE A VERY GOOD MODDELER an yes please about chq in post lol

Given up trying to cover the marks ( self inflicted ) on the pe decks but the centre section represents metal deck on the ship and has brush painted ok. So used Tamiya varnish on the plastic deck then fitted the wood deck. Not the best quality. But more practice. So next
