My glacial build is still progressing slowly . I have started blocking in the colours. I am happy with the Italian tricolour on the engine deck. There was a decal in the kit but trying to get it to follow the contours of the louvres would have been a nightmare. So I masked it off and sprayed it. Since I took the picture it has been glosses ready for the next stages.

Looking great. Good call to paint the flag. Trying to use a decal would never have worked properly.

Only just caught this one paul , I think it started as I was on holiday and Ive somehow missed it till now . Superb scratchery and attention to detail as always , its a great looking thing isnt it . Good choice painting the tricolore , the decal wouldnt have looked half as good . Cheers tony
