People just maybe need a change of scene.
Maybe they are not getting the interest and response they want but thats the way it goes. I personally would comment on anybodies work regardless if its what I like to model or not. Its not just about the subject matter be it a tank, car, ship or plane. Its about appreciating folks skill sets and how they do it. Regardless of the model, most skills are transferable over the whole hobby.
However, if you are going to move on and wont state the reason, you can't expect too much encouragement to the contrary.
If its because you don't like the way the forum is run ..... speak up ..... constructively and respectfully to the admin with your ( non emotive or personal ) reasons.
If an individual is upsetting your enjoyment of the forum ....... ditto.
If you are experiencing more deep routed personal issues ....... seek help .... dont let it take control of you.
Don't just walk away if you really enjoy the facility and the environment.
Toto ...... ( the ever knowing ) not.

For me this group is about more than just making models.While I certainly enjoy seeing what others are up to in the hobby I also enjoy the banter, the friendship and kindness. In any hobby, sport or interest there will always be those who excel and the other 99% who just enjoy things at their own level. I do get inspired by seeing work of the level of Richard's and others.
HI John because i dint think people were instrested as i talk or use to to him near every day but new phone buggered that up an i lost his email addy but got it back now but my laptop has a problem as wont send emails now so got to take it into curriyies again soon want my own parkin space an that this new windows 11 for you

Sorry but I thought this was a persoanal choice and not one to be bandied about.
If the guy wants to leave then that is his choice, and to say goodbye to the forum is not only polite, but good manners as well, and he is not obliged nor does he need to give any explanation to you or anyone else, And certainly does not need or require the third degree from anyone.
DITTO Jim i feel the same as i look apon all you guys as freinds an enjoy looking at all your models builds if i can an try an give feedback if poss if i know anything about said subject but not if i cant talk inteigently about the subject as we dont know every thing do we an im sad that richard (wabble) is leaving like battleship BOB has as im sad he took this deshion but thats up to them but i will stay if i can as i love this forum an it the first thing i do in the morning when sat down as jen says im a bit obseive over the forums but thats just me as she has her diamon art so when we both doin this we both are happy what more can you want ?

I apologise for the way that may have come over. I think I was trying to suggest that if their was a negative reason for leaving the forum .... and it was shared .... maybe folks could offer a resolution and persuade him to stay.
As also rightfully stated, nobody needs a reason, its personal choice. Just sorry to see anybody go as each poster only enriches the forum.

HI Toto dont worry about it an no need to apolagise in my opinion anyway we know your reasons as i nearly said the same thing as ive known richard come wabble for several yrs an im sad to see him go but we get new members come on an hope they will take part in the forum so dont feel bad over this
