Hi, the bike too needed some detailing. Whatever is not the kit colour is added...they were minor but definitely needed. The interesting addition was the rod connected from the petrol tank to the gearbox using a number 2 steel guitar string.



The cables took the better of half a day to fiddle and attach.

This continues...
Added some final touches to the base with saplings and painted the fallen trunks to look like fallen Birch. Plugged the birch tree attachment points. Then sprayed a highlight of desert sand and made ready for snow fall. Also made a first pass painting the Birch tree trunks...white and black stripes in the next few passes.



After all that groundwork it all got covered in snow. Will repaint the snow after it has dried and all the coloured dye from the dried foliage has dried. Forgot to seal them with varnish so they have seeped into the polyfilla. Dry fitted the tree trunks to see how much of white contrast I need to paint into the bark...



Painted the white onto the bark...first pass.



On checking my figures against German winter clothing for colours, I noticed I forgot to add the hoodies which flop on the backs when not in use so here they are added...

Here's more...
Painted the faces and goggles...on close scrutiny they look so nitty gritty but with the naked eye looks okay with me. Rest of the body is still in base colours...



Bike also painted...just needs wash, highlights and weathering...



Decals were old and shattered when dipped in water so got some replacements from a friend that had the same kit. Only eleven days more to get this done.
