discussion More kits?

My stash has been woefully depleted over the years, am down to a Leopard II, a Hellcat,
a turretless Sherman tractor and a AMX30.....BOOORRRIIINNNGGG!!!

The Wife just grabbed me a Somua! at a local indoor flea market for 10 bucks! a Heller kit.


She also said there were other military models but could not name them.
One thing she did say, there was one that was a huge multi-wheeled truck like "thingy'
with a big missel on it "a stud? no no a scud?" WHAT?!! and you did not buy it?

She was there Sunday just before closing and will open Wedsday morn so no one
can grab it before then.
Guess who will be camped out on the bench outside Wednesday morning?

Nice, I did a big Russian ICBM a while back, it was a nice kit, I'd deffo consider a Scud at some point too.

Nice one jim ,I like the look of these ultra light tanks , although I always think they look as if they could be taken out with a well aimed coconut ! hope you get the ‘thingy’ with the ‘stud’ on it ! Cheers tony

Well was waiting for the old coot to open who moved about as fast as a dead turtle.
To make a too long story short, I nicked the SCUD.


Also grabbed a Dragon SU 100


An Italeri Bergetiger




And a German field maint. kit by Tamiya. All for about 35 bucks.....not too bad aye?

Should be a busy winter at the bench, contracted a hernia a couple of weeks ago.
Nothing too serious but needs to be addressed soon. Have two carpel tunnel surgeries
coming up next week and the week after that for the other hand. Then an ultra sound
between hand surgeries to see extent of hernia and probably to schedule surgery
they move fairly quick up here so hope to be out of shop by Thanksgiving.

Now I am without a doubt in the jar, Mamma won't let me out! I sit with my pitiful face pressed
upon the window or on the phones watching everybody do everything WRONG!
(or at least not up to my usual unreasonable standards...says the wife)
Of course according to her the hernia was all my fault And of course she's RIGHT!
If everything and every tool is not in the right place there will be harsh language and
a stupid attempt by me to move something I had no business moving in my diminished
capacity.....so there it is
