Thanks John, the sooner it passes the better!Comes to us all Lee. It will pass.
Thanks Andy but I'm not a big fan of relish, :rolling: :tears-of-joy:, well you are over the border and a little further away! :tongue-out3:... normally I could do the but kicking bit with relish mate....
.... but from this far away I'm afraid it just ain't possible!!:tears-of-joy:
Mines to lazy to party, probably swerved off somewhere and sleeping! I will keep logging in to see if someone has handed it in to lost property.I would say it’s probably off partying with mine…..but I know mine is just hiding away until I get the Avenger done…..just keep logging in, and reading around….it’ll come back eventually.
Mike, I ignore it but it just shouts at me! I even tried to start another thinking it was that one that bothered me... nope!Take it easy, sit back and let it pass. Ignore what you have on the bench that is giving you the ache, if need be, pack it in the box and put it out of sight. Then browse through the boxes of the future projects, look through the instructions/photo etch and plan for the future builds.
I have been in the slump for over three weeks with other contributing factors included. I have made a concerted effort to get the bridge part of my build finished and completed it today. Next project is an old build that has been sitting around for two years or more and now is the time to finish it.
Mike
Thanks Dave, I did think that I could be weather related but at the same time I've got a lot screaming through my head... work, car, decorating, the want to still be holiday... blah blah blahYup,
it must be the weather! After an enforced absence from the bench ( OA in hand ), I returned, only to find that my Mojo has taken a holiday........................... It'll return in its' own good time. In the meantime read, or do retail therapy for your dream project ( without actually pressing the 'buy' button ). I'm giving the 3D printer a bit of a workout ( non-modelmaking items )
Dave
Thanks Rick, I thought everything was going swimmingly too but I guess life gets in the way, we're all preoccupied with one thing or another, I'll get it back, I'll snap out of this slump... I need too!Last time I looked in Lee, you were sitting on what I thought was a pretty cool diorama. From the looks of it, you had a well thought out theme and just needed a little more work to get it to the finish line. Hope you find yer missing mojo soon.
HI Lee yes ive got the same problem at the moment as my mojo has buggered off an left me my probs but i now have to force myself to try an sort out my tiger probs but thankfully my new boaty mate has ordeded my new props for me an they should be with me by end of next week SOOOOOOOO MOJO please come back lol
In desperate need to get this back if anyone finds it!
It's frustrating mate, I hate feeling down, really down! I need a pick me up from but it's just finding where to get that pick me up from, BnM doesn't have them, work definitely doesn't have any... :rolling::upside:HI Lee yes ive got the same problem at the moment as my mojo has buggered off an left me my probs but i now have to force myself to try an sort out my tiger probs but thankfully my new boaty mate has ordeded my new props for me an they should be with me by end of next week SOOOOOOOO MOJO please come back lol

Rich, I'll have to try and find a local model show, see if that helps.I find the Summer brings many distractions.Well our wet summer hehe.I find watching youtube and going to model shows tends to inspire me.The lure of kits and seeing others models sometimes helps.
Rich.
Steve, I hear you mate, we have a gardening project going on too, decorating a busmans holiday for me!Schade! My mojo is here but temporarily submerged due to the major garden refurbishment and a sustained attack from visiting family and friends :anguished: Keep looking mate, that's one thing the Carpet Monster can't swallow whole! (And ... Get that Dio finished ... !)
Steve
Decorating, yes I do it everyday, the last thing I want to be doing on a weekend! I know, the quicker it's done swmbo will he off my back too.I'm sure that our enthusiasm for everything (DIY is the exception - that's always at rock bottom) goes up and down naturally. The modelling mojo does just that but it always returns. Main thing is don't beat yourself up about it. When all's said and done it's only a hobby.

John, yep, can't be bothered pretty much sums it up really, can't wait for it to pass.I am in the same boat. A complete lack of Mojo. Nothing to do with the kit i am working on. Mine is just a consequence of the Stroke I had 3 years ago. I get periods when I just can't be bothered with anything. It will pass eventually and the glue will start flowing again.
John.
Paul, I'm letting things happen as they come, I've cleared my bench, I've had a tidy up (ish!).Lee,
Don't force it mate, it will come back when it's ready. Until then just sit back and enjoy the banter on here.
