Som guys over here have had a few good finds of late. One chap picked up a stone and on closer examination found out that it was amber. Not only that but it was carved into a shape. Turned out to be the oldest piece of art/sculpture ever found in Denmark. Now it lives in the national museum and he got a fat finders fee. I cant recall the amount but I think it was £10,000.


Some other gut found a couple of Viking swords in a field he was metal detecting in. He got a fair deal there as well.
