discussion Ian M's Battleship/Destroyer. GB Idea

I would like to propose a GB for Battleships. Any nation, 1/350 and up....
Now I know these things can take a long time to build and paint so I was thinking of throwing it right open and have it run for the whole of 2017. If that's to much then six months would probably be enough....
 


We have a few ship builders on here so what's the general felling about this idea?

If this goes for a year then I might be tempted, I've never built one before. But can you define "battleship"?

I think this would be good I've always wanted to build a ship maybe an rc conversion to. It would have to be the later part of the year for me though.

But can you define "battleship

 battleship: A large armored warship with a main battery consisting of large caliber guns. 
Think along the lines of Dreadnought and there after; Bismarc, Tirpitz, Hood, Missouri.... That kind of thing. Not assault ships, Aircraft carriers etc.

Hmm... What do you others say, I suppose it could open it up a bit to others as well. I mean it is I guess the modern times version of a battleship.... Do they even have modern super dreadnaugt battleships these days? 


But still a no on aircraft carriers and assault ships though...

No problems Ian if it's not what you want as a battle ship I'll give it a miss, but if your one short of the number required just drop me a line.

OK. I've got the Tamiya Musashi in the stash which has climbed almost to the top of my list on a couple of occasions. Count me in if it's a 'go' Ian - I think even I could do something in 6 months!

Can we have a confirmation from the maybe's and also if we are OK with Opening it up to Destroyers...
