This will be my entry, happens somewhere on the much too late Eastern front

Umm I didn't think we were allowed to submit arbitrary GBs.... I thought we had to suggest a topic & then get a minimum of 8 takers?

Unless this should be in Peter's Stuka GB Jim?

I'm sorry I thought I was joining in on Terry's GB thingy, should I preface it with "Terry's 2017 GB" then my name and title? I'm a bit confused:confused:

Aww no worries Jim! I'm sure one of the mods, either Ian M or Polux can move the thread for you to Terry's GB section. :)

Nice kits Jim I shall look forward to seeing how this comes along.

Thanks folks, glad to be in on this one, since I have all year for this one it fits right into my erratic modeling schedule.
Figures will be totally re-done as they were created about 30 years ago and are nowhere near my standards of today...should be fun:rolleyes:

Thanks Patrick and Polux, seems my senior moments are getting closer together nowadays:oops:

Hey guys and gals, been busy of late but found some time to scrape up a scenario for this one. Rubble will be a challenge with the use of various materials.
Figures are old and primitive but they will get their just deserts along with some private weaponry and other minutia not yet imagined.
Have all year finish and will strive for a "Stalingrad!" like quality and believe it or not ...no gore in this one:rolleyes:

Thanks Monica, I must take into account that a whole building was destroyed so

I must not skimp on the rubble, but keep in mind that this particular area has been bombed out and Russian planes are now passing over to bomb further west towards Germany.
Some rubble will have been cleared to allow some freedom of movement, I will put some picks and shovels about to try and suggest this, maybe even a soldier at work doing so if I can mock one up. .........Jim;)

like that idea Jim,some people forget about the amount of rubble, from a building as well,
and as you said,it would be piled up to give room for the AA,s to be moved about,;)

That's looking very good Jim. I like seeing how people build their own streets & buildings.
I really like your figures too.

Thanks guys, I think much more effort will go into making the scene it self than that which went into the vehicle and figures. Am thinking about another vehicle for street area, maybe a maultier or other type of support vehicle, don't know yet. Need to find more time for modeling, though it's pretty tough:oops:........Jim:)

OK Patrick , here would be your suggestion with KV88 as you call it. Would including Maultier be too much? I would think to have it bringing ammo and other supplies to gunners.
Other troops would seem to be a bit jealous of gunners snow suits but they were not available to all. I think I'll try to reproduce a small "camp fire" to let them warm up a bit:rolleyes:
This is expanding and becoming quite a complicated issue.
I now feel I need to put at least one figure at shovel work and yet another in bed of Maultier prepping to unload ammo etc...Thank God I have up to a year to complete this project;)
Decisions...decisions...oh what fun:oops:.....Ok enough BS time to get to work.....Jim:)
