Time to a departure from my normal builds.


This kit has three ships one enterprise and two romulon the fiber optics will be replaced with newer  slightly better stuff and also the lights will be replaced with LEDs.


The first thing I have done isinstalled the light and fiber optics in the enterprises saucer section ready for closing up and painting

I had this kit Peter, beware of the solder pints they broke on mine when closing up. Nice work so far mate.

Got a bit more done the enterprise is all together and the soldered joints have held the black paint on the saucer is to stop light bleeding and will be over coated in white

At last I have the enterprise finished and all lights working this will not be the final position just for display.

I have just realised that their not Klingons they are romulans

I haven't ditched it I have just lost interest in it as I need to be in the right frame of mind plus its going to be summer project.

Oh ok Peter just enjoyin your build an look forward then to when you carry on an finish the build I nearly bought this kit but found it was a bit small for me as im a trekkie I have built the big 1/350 scale movie enterprise an fitted it with loads of led's an to me anyway looks great all lit up on its stand chris

I have just found the background for this build as I thought I had lost it for good so it's time to have another stab at it.

Time to restart and first up is one of the romulan ships I have begun the long task of fitting the fibre optics in the front section and having a test fire.

Outstanding Peter, cracking work on the Enterprise and D7 is coming along nicely. Love that background too.
