I love the A35 Si :)
I built it some time ago and it's a lovely kit (thanks to Peterairfix ;))

Finally the last kit I need for Terry's GB has turned up

Nothing really Paul, the original release was 2006, they then did a re-release edition in 2008, different box. Airfix then discontinued it.
Just be aware, if that's the boxing with something signed in it, I've seen them advertised for a couple of hundred quid. Just thought I would mention it !

nice,Patrick, you doing the flames out the exhaust,;)
Yes if the build/kit is no good I'll set fire to it!
I've noticed when doing a Google search on the kit, the images show as in most cases the model is not as low as the real thing to the road! If so I'll have to sort that. I'm not doing a lot of building at the moment. I've put 90% of my plane kits on ebay today, just running out of space!

Yes Monica, I was on YouTube yesterday seeing how people paint flames on car bodies but not for exhausts, as the exhaust flame-out looks more like an explsion of fuel, which of course it is!

that would have to be one of the hardest things to paint, and with the two most hardest paints,to me being orange and yellow,
to use,but would like to see it,if you do have a bash at it :)

Got this kit cheap in a local shop the other day.

I have to say I'm really not impressed with the quality of this kit, a heck of a lot of sanding is needed to get it to look half decent and the detail level is quite low. The tooling for this kit is dated 1963.
I have decided to go with a classic look on this one with a two tone paint job. The sides will be cream white and the rest of the body will be eggshell blue.
