Just come back from a few days on Anglesey N. Wales, and spotted a sign to this. I got there a bit late, so only managed a few quick shots.

According to the blurb, a local military collector bought the tank and put it in this temporary location to raise a bit of money for charity, before it's moved to it's permanent home on the Island.

It's on display until the end of next week......A55 Britannia Bridge. First Left and follow signs.

Entry is free, but don't forget to put some money in the Charity Box on the way out!

Cheers,
Ron

C'mon Ron! I'm not falling for that one. You've repainted the Blazer you did for your son-in-law and photoshopped it into a picture of the bridge!

You can't fool me!

Aw! Found out....
Thanks for joining in on this bit of nonsense Dave.

The recipe -
Take one tank from my 'Lebanon' diorama.
Add one 'Pizza Base window wall and stick a piece of clear cellophane to it.
Place a water colour painting I did of the Menai Bridge behind the whole thing.
Take pictures.

All good, harmless fun.....I hope.

Must admit Ron I had to look twice before I realised it was a diorama. Excellent work sir.

You had me mate , until dave posted i thought it was real !

Beautiful piece of work. Certainly had to look carefully at it, at first glance looks real.

I wish I'd known the real one had a seam down the barrel before I spent hours sanding mine off.

Great stuff, and a nice bit of 'crack'. Cheers boys!

Peter - It's not a seam down the barrel as such, it's where the wrap around stuff meets at the over- centre clips on the barrel.

Thanks again chaps, all good fun.....

Ron
