Had a great day out at Southwell show, nice to meet up with the guys that went. I just got a few kits but had a bargin with the Fw 190 for £5.

The Fw 190 will do for the GB if it's a goer, and the sweet 1/144 109s will do for the winter airplane GB also.

Good venue too, plenty of free parking, and the catering wasn't as much of a rip-off as some. Also good to have somewhere comfortable to sit down for a few minutes!

Well it was great to catch up with some familiar faces and one new one ( pete) . As usual it was a good show with plenty of traders , clubs and the competition. Congrats to Ian ( papa 695) who bagged a second place in class with his Bentley blower. Heres a few pics of some of the displays that caught my eye and my haul for the day

Some nice stuff Tony I had that Canadair in my hands twice and was very tempted as it had some weight to it.
