Evening Pete,
Happy to see you bringing us another update. Dragon did a good job of the texture on the hull and turret.
Look forward to see the colour go on

Pete,
All looking great stuff, but best thing of all is, your still building and posting,
I think we all have times like you're having, but remember you're doing something you love , so do it how you want and not how others want you too, be happy in what you do, and keep it going buddy. :thumb2::thumb2:

I echo Brad here.
The great strength of this hobby is that it matters to no one but you. If you don’t finish on time, or at all, it really doesn’t impact anyone else. All that matters is that you enjoy it. If you share it with us, even better, because this is good quality stuff...
I’m glad you do want to post because I enjoy reading your updates, but please only do this because you want to...don’t feel pressurised.
That said, great progress, like this loads...
Cheers
Tim

Pete.
I'm sure everyone feels like you do at times. We sit looking at what we are building and become disillusioned, it's quite normal after spending hrs looking at what you have achieved and then thinking it's aload of rubbish. In fact it is far from rubbish . Your builds are always interesting , nothing wrong with any of it at all. Those figures are great and the attention to detail is something you should be proud of.

Please carry on doing it the way you do :thumb2:

Hi Tim and thank you too, I don’t feel pressurised It's just me I know we are our own worst critics but I look at my stuff and remember what I could do not so long ago and I just get very frustrated. Thank you again.

Cheers John, yes you are right I'm sure some of us do become frustrated with the hobby at times I know I'm my own worst critics . I look back at what I could achieve not so long ago and I just get very frustrated. The reason is that I have stage 3 gold severe Emphyseme with a FEV1 which means I've only got between 30 & 50% of normal breathing capacity and yes I'm on oxygen that's why I hand paint I used airbrush and was pretty good if I say so myself. There also the amount of drugs I have to take 32 tablets a day ( which is 11,680 a year at that's when I'm well) which makes me shake a lot. About 2years ago I also had lung volume reduction surgery at the Royal Brompton London to remove damaged parts of my lungs.I also have other stuff going on which doesn't help matters.
That's why I get down from time to time sorry I rambled on a bit.

Cheers john I was just trying to tell people why I sometime get down, I was diagnosed just over 5 years ago, I've have come to teams with the out come now, with Emphyseme you plod along for a time and you drop a level (get worst) it's how big a drop is the scary problem. I know it sound silly but I know whats coming but I think its more scary for the good lady wife.
As for Asthma that's no picnic either, thanks John for listening I'm off now to make some palm trees.
Pete.

Hello Pete,
Just caught up to this build, and the paint is in the process and looking really good. Stop doubting yourself, I for one really enjoy watching your builds and looking at your painting skills, I really wish I could hand paint as well as you do. Not to worry about the frustration, I get there as well, hence the lack of real updates.
I sympathise with you and your illness, and yes the ones on the recieving end are usually the wives. When my ptsd raises it's ugly head it can become a war zone in the house, first it was the heart attacks, then being diagnosed with what had been said was just a bad tempered old wazuk but was ptsd, after all this time. At the start it was nothing to hear the PC bouncing down the stairs or the monitor being dragged screaming up the path to the bin by its chord. I'm 70 now, and what I will be like if I reach 90 is anyones guess.... But I now do one day at a time, then a week, then a month and at each day there is the wife supporting me. Keep up the superb modelling. Mike.

Peter, I'm in the same boat as Mike with the Ptsd, at least you seem to finish your builds and get some colour on, I have only managed to finish one since restarting, all the others I've done seem to fly through the air, and the're not even wingy things, costs me a packet, so your in good company, anyway onwards and upwards ...:thumb2:

outstanding! Hand painted? don't know this word :flushed:, makes it more outstanding (if it makes any sense)
