Looking good Peter. Nice to see a slightly different paint callout too
Thanks Alan. Yes, it's an unusual scheme isn't it. I like the prop!
Looking good Pete
Thanks Joe
Nice build Pete. Good luck with that camo pattern:thumb2:
Thanks Steve. The good thing about the camo is that there's very little masking to do. The bad news is that it's tricky to see where the RLM76 ends, and the RLM75 starts.

Thanks chaps!
Undercarriage is being a bit troublesome...

Pete

Hi Peter
Paint looks nice. I do like the stand you are using. I have limited experience of planes but under carriages are often troublesome.

Thanks Jim, Fernando.
Undercarriage went on OK eventually, though the tail wheel assembly needed quite a lot sanded off the thickness before it would fit into the slot in the fuselage. However... I was felling quite pleased with the paint job, until I realised I hadn't applied the upper colours to the fuselage sides under the tail!

I really need to find a higher place for my spray booth, so I'm not painting while looking down on the model.
Fixed now though:

Clear coat on that tomorrow, then I can start on the decals on Monday.
Thanks for watching,
Pete

Who was the doubter who thought I'd break off the pitot? Eat your words! Mind, the aerial under the rear fuselage has been reglued 4 times!
I'm quite pleased with this build - it was easier than the Spitfire, with fewer fit problems. I hadn't sanded the tailwheel mechanism enough, and it should be a bit further into the fuselage, so she is a little high at the back end. The rectangular bit that I thought was a frame aerial is actually a step that retracts into the fuselage on the real thing, but I think Eduard have it too far back to be much use as a step.

All comments/criticisms/suggestions will be gratefully appreciated.

Pete

Thanks chaps. Alan, yes, the prop was one reason why I chose that scheme. Nothing to do with it not having a spiral on the spinner of course...:rolling:

Pete.
Well done that man. Admire the way you beat the beast. You must be pleased with the result.:thumb2:
John.
