Hi chaps,

Spent last week looking into my retirement pot and hoping to go at the end of the year, yippeeee! I am owed a shed of holiday money as I have been off since February so, one last big splash for a while

Really enjoying building the Marder and its interior, so in a for a few pounds!

New Tamiya Hummel plus metal barrel, looks superb

Nashorn

One for the future carrying either a striped down Stug (looking for a photo, if it exists) or a Marder (got a photo of that), looks superb with great instructions and fit

Tamiya Pz IV H plus load of PE sets

This is the resin set for the Pz 111 N

Finally to save me ruining the Elefant a cheapy for zimmerit practice

Good to see you doing your bit to support the international modelling businesses Bob:smiling5:

I’d take any of them kits all day long, if I didn’t already have Dragons Hummel and Nashorn I’d of picked up Tamiya’s versions without doubt....they look great.

Pete.
Nice purchase, and only one !
That's a fantastic painting of the Lancaster flying low of a dyke, would't mind a copy of that on the FB Page .

Very nice Bob, i've a Marder as well in the stash, will let you do yours first so I can crib the colours. :smiling3:
The Nashorn looks another nice offering, esp in that winter coat.

I was going to say, “Where’s the dyke?” but then I remembered that in some parts of England, a dyke is something dug into the ground, rather than an embankment on top of it :) (Both meanings having the same origin as the English verb “to dig”.)

A museum I do some volunteer work for every so often has a similar Lancaster image (I suspect by the same artist) on a wall, about three or four metres wide as I recall.

Hi Si, John and Al

Its partly paid for by selling kits and some books on ebay! Also looking at a dragon Marder H! The Hummel looks superb, the instruction book is a work of art!

We actually have in the fens the raised version as well , remember the Dutch did help with a lot of the reclaiming and drainage of the low lying fens of south Lincolnshire. Before the advent of steam pumps many were pumped by wind power.

I have just had a delivery from postie............................
I frequent ebay quite a lot these days, bidding on quite a lot, but winning very few! I have to say I didn't think I was going to get this...... airfix seaprite.jpg

Not common! - also, bundled with this washarrier gr3.jpg

Both still shrink wrapped. Both delivered for the exorbitant sum of £9.74!! :smiling2:
I didn't really want the Harrier, just the Seasprite!!!
You can STILL get bargains on ebay, but you really have to spend a lot of time trawling through the listings ( and really stick to a price limit ).
When I first used ebay ( nearly 15 years ago ), it was mainly auctions, by private individuals, or garden shed businesses - now it's predominantly outlets for the major retailers ( not that there's anything wrong with that ) - but those auctions can still be found!

A bargain then Dave just the thing you enjoy.

Here is the next one for the bench. Made plenty of 1/72s in the past, so I thought I would have a go at a big 'un. Got to finish the 1/32 mosquito first. It will probably be brush painted like the Mossie as I need to save up for a booth for airbrushing as they don't come cheap. IMG_20190624_221755_2.jpg

Not sure how much of a DIY-er you are, but making your own spray booth shouldn’t be too hard with, say, some plywood and a generic extraction fan.

Peej, Try Amazon, bought mine recently from them for £80. Mike.

Just collected my delivery from SMS.

Extra thin to help solve a build issue with my attacker and something to make the delivery worthwhile.

Just got these for my HMS Victory build.

There 1/144 so I hope there not too big.

If they do turn out to be too big, you could always contact the seller (these come from a 3D printing site, right?) and ask if they can make them available at the height you need them. It should only be a matter of them scaling the model accordingly and re-uploading it.
