Scale Model Shop

Steve Jones 1/76 Airfix Cromwell "Stack" Tank (Starter set GB Part 2)

Love the display done like that must take hours to set that up alone.
Brilliant modeling .:thumb2::thumb2::thumb2::thumb2::thumb2:

Excellent work comrade Jones, and a proper fancy touch with the exploded view.....and on a mirror!
Like the master chef of modelling :cool: A deconstructed delicious Cromwell:hungry:

Beautiful work mate.....very impressed :thumb2:

The first time I saw a display like an exploded drawing was at the Peterborough Show this year and very impressive it was.
Considering all the internal work is normally lost except for the sight through an open hatch this at least does exhibit the total build.
I realise this is not for every build nor for every modeller, as has been mentioned in here before.
Once again Steve, nice one :thumb2::thumb2::thumb2::thumb2::thumb2:

Thanks Jim. It was an idea that came to me and just had to be done :thumb2:
Cheers Neil. It was a real toughie but the result is a good one
It took a couple of days JR as I waited for the glue to dry completely before adding further weight
Thank you comrade Benson. The mirror does allow the viewer to see all the underneath detail
It was a great GB Peter. Never done a starter kit before and I had a lot of fun
Glad you like it Andy
I didn't realise it had been done before JR. Was it 1 76 scale or 1 35? it would be great to see it, if you have some more detail about it
Thanks Jakko. I couldn't think of any other way to show all the interior apart from cut out sides
