Looking incredibly realistic John. Love the finish on the tanks.
Thanks Peter.
I did mean to say the rest of the diorama should be finished in the next couple of days, figures all done. ( well not to your standard :disappointed:, but passable at 2ft)

That's looking the bomb JR. The bark on the birch has calmed down nicely. Food for thought, you might want to introduce some yellow or ochra scatter as birch leaves tend to turn a vivid yellow before they drop. Trust me on this, I live in the land of many birch:rolling:.
Cheers, Rick H.

Hi John
It does indeed look very good. Trees will really set the whole dio off perfectly.

Shaping up very well. You'd think they'd have had more respect for Rasputitsa :smiling2:. PaulE

Evening John,

The tanks look great in their setting:thumb2:

Nice work with the trees, really like the colour contrasts of the autumn leaves. Interesting to see this all coming together :smiling4:

Rick as my resident Birch Expert I shall add some more scatter, don't know if I can get yellow, might have to use this.

Thanks Andy, I soon forget all the crap of building them.

O.K. JR, It was worth a try. I suspect it will look better than good. But in Russkie land where temperatures fall faster than meteors The colors will tend to be more vibrant:smiling3: .

Seems ok, just need Rick to approve :smiling2:

Being Friday, I thought 453 had treated himself to a Sixty Nine from Won Hung Lo's - with very colourful rice!

I'm beginning to wonder if it was a little imprudent to bring up the leaves in the first place....I'll get my coat!
