Dough Hill Layout update pics

Nice pics. Lee, all that vintage iron takes me back to when I was a kid. My folks had a '49 Merc.
With a flathead V8 and overdrive. Cheers, Rick H.

Thanks Rick
I really like that color of that merc. Thanks for stopping by and the complement

Lee, great photos, like the ground level ones, they really give a good impression.
Great collection of cars and trucks on display.
Do you ever weather the rolling stock ? that Western Pacific would be fun .

Sometimes but I really like them looking new it took me a long time to get some of these and I really don’t want to mess them up by weathering. I have a Boxcar pre weathered though Belinda bought it for my the other day at Menards here it is 278F389D-54B5-43C4-BFF4-966D1F3CCD72.jpegDD0A36DC-2C52-4CCE-B302-4FD96F9DED78.jpeg499487C0-6B92-40B2-959B-5BCD0A7578FC.jpeg

Cool set up lee :thumb2: I’ll have to show my son, he loves model trains:smiling4:

Great photos Lee, can see your point in a way about not doing the weather. That boxcar that Belinda bought does look perfect .
You'll have to get a Yorkshire Tea boxcar ! :smiling3::smiling3:

Si. Thanks for dropping in and the complement. Hope you son likes it

John. I’ve weathered HO Boxcars but not these O scale I would hate to mess up a $50.00+ car. Yes that’s a great idea I may just build that tea car

Lee.
Your right there, at that price I would leave well alone.
There you are, a challenge , take a blank boxcar, get some printed copies of a Yorkshire Tea Box and glue them on, ! Of course not as easy as I've made out , but it would look so good .
John .

Nice looking SW1500 Lee, my very first HO scale model was an SW1500 painted and decaled up for the DM&IR (Duluth Missabe & Iron Range Rwy.). Wish I had the room to build a layout. Then I could get out all the brass locomotives I have had all these years and put them to good use. Rick H.

Rick. Thanks I Custom built this one. Been thinking about posting pics of my HO layout think I might this Model Railroading is a lot more fun than building Millitary Models for me these days. Check out my Custom built Wood Reefer on the rolling stock forum here.

Beautiful set up Lee, so much to enjoy with a railway from the planning to set building and finally seeing it run . Love it .

John. Thanks it is so relaxing and fun especially when you build a Custom rail car and watch it go around your layout

Lee. I noticed the interior lighting in the first shot. Does it also have a full cab interior? I bought a Canon interior for mine, then never got around to installing it. Rick H.
