My Dremel died yesterday so had to swat the moths away when I opened up my wallet to buy a new one the Dremel 3000 with multi speeds an a new chuck to take all sizes of small tools an now no need for the collet

HI PaulE YEA it is a needful thing I would be lost without one of these they take on all the hard work be it grinding or drilling or sandin so yes a very usefull tool indeed

Ok guys and gals.

So first up are these. Nothing major just little things to make my modelling life easier. John practically forced me to buy them with his recent 25% off sale. He did, honest! :flushed::fearful:;)

You want a metallic cigarette lighter but this was cheaper than a real one? :)

I’m guessing you intend to try that method of Zimmerit-making that was shown in another post …

Indeed!!! And if you look closely at the picture you can see I've already had a quick test. And it works really well!

With the sizes of the boxes, the difference in scales between those two kits rather surprised me.
HI Jakko yea that's what I thought when lookin at the boxes either the 1/32 box is way to small or the 1/72 box is way to big something funny there ?

Pete i hate to think how much that stuff costs now I used to buy it in 500ml bottles for £2.99. When i heard they were going to discontinue the old formula i bought 5 bottles and they have all been sold for over £20 a bottle. Crazy.
