Hi Bob, loving the Stug Fest so far! Some great builds underway! I was
thinking of joining in if that is okay?
I have a Tamiya Ausf B in the stash but I see there are a few of that Kit being built already. SWMBO asked me last night what I'd like for my Birthday in a few weeks and as I currently have the North African Campaign bug at the moment I have requested the Bronco Stug III Ausf D. It looks like a very decent kit with a little PE. My first Bronco Build and my first Stug III Build.
Best Regards.
James.

Great choice James. I built this a couple of years ago and its a lovely kit. The air filters were a little tricky but all in all a great kit. If you want to see the final build pictures they can be found HERE

PSSST Bob,

Mine is a "last" not late Stug IV. Wouldn't want to make Krupp angry now would we...……………..

Right chaps been neglecting my duties, but in a good cause we have been helping out a fayre to raise cash for a cat rescue charity and being huge moggie lovers it was well worth being bloody freezing lol
Huge moggies Bob? You mean Tigers, Panthers, etc? :tongue-out3:
Pete

I was doing a bit of research on the Ausf D I plan to build and found this 2016 restoration of a captured Afrika Korps Stuggy. Salvaged from a UK firing range.
Mr Jon Phillips restored it with almost all original parts but rebuilt with Rolls Royce multi-fuel engine, Allison gearbox and FV432 steering box.
A real thing of beauty.
