Great idea.
Nearest canal to me is in Chester which is about 12 miles from here and a 45 minute bus ride( had to give up my driving licence due to the medication I take)
I know the canal well as I used to fish it a lot.
My idea is to go to the canal one week with very light gear,ie not much to carry so I can rove,then the next week to the trap with all my gear where I usually sit in one spot.

My favourite way to fish. All i take is a shoulder bag, landing net and rod.
In the bag is bait, a handful of quills, selection of weights and hooks.

Keep your goals in mind and think of what it means to you.

If you don't have to, don't carry money, or other means ( cards etc ) that will let you relapse into bad habits - and stay away from people who still suffer with the addiction .

I am painting CGS Miniatures 1st Hussar and it is nearly finished.
