This is it my Friends day four is upon me, I feel extremely confident of never smoking again.
Today is the day I would normally buy my smoke supply for the next four weeks and because I will not be buying them I can now afford to buy any rod I wish to have, HURRAY.It also means I can now afford to buy models again.

SEE Ralph youre getting there but you must stick at it I know its hard as Ive been through it myself as have all the others who have been on the weed an given it up but all that extra money for me to spend on my models kept me goin

Two rods I have been having a good look at.
The first is a Daiwa Prorex s spinning rod.
The second is a Shakespeare Ugly Stik GX2 spinning rod.

means nothing to me! Drowning maggots was never one of my pastimes. I only ever fished in the Tropics, where bright lights hung over the side of your anchored ship attracted the fish at night. It wasn't a question of whether you would catch a fish, but if you could get in on deck before it was chomped by something bigger! King Klip & Tuna were welcome, often going from sea to frying pan in less than 20 mins! ( We'll skip over the moray eels, sea snakes, and other nameless horrors that were hooked! )

Nope, you lost me, my one foray into fishing was when an old neighbour and a couple of his mates took me when I was on leave, they were trout fishing. I soon got bored and wandered of and found an outlet pipe with all these fish around it, so off came the socks and shoes and in I waded and was soon tickling trout bellies and flicking them onto the bank. Then along came the warden and asked what I was doing - fishing, came the reply - you fish with a rod, said he, show me a bear with a fishing rod and I will buy one - confiscated all my b****y fish.....

It is basically a light lure rod which I intend to use with fake baits.
Never done sea fishing but catching marine horrors sounds fun.

It is basically a light lure rod which I intend to use with fake baits.Same principle as fly fishing but with less casting.

To be honest I have never had a problem with Shakespeare rods the majority of rods that I have used have been Shakespeare including my first ever rod.
