Scale Model Shop

What bit of this hobby do you enjoy the most?

I don't think anyone outside the hobby gets modelling. I'm off to the gym for an hour...fine. Away rugby game, I'll be out all day...fine. Oh I planned to spend a couple of hours modelling that evening....funny looks.
It's the corset and suspenders belt with fish net stockings that give it away...

I made a doll's house when I was about 10 or 11 - it was a modern Bauhaus style, for drawings in one of my mother's woman's magazines. I finished all the woodwork and wired the lights, then gave it (unpainted) to a young female relative. No idea what happened to it after that.

More to the point, what were you doing reading womens magazines??? :unamused:

Heh … I basically have two hobbies: modelbuilding and roleplaying games. If you think people don’t understand the former, try explaining why you would spend time doing the latter.
We have heard......

She Who Must Be Obeyed. It was a phrase adapted by John Mortimore for his character Horace Rumpole (immortalised in the TV series Rumpole of the Bailey) when referring to his wife. It originally came from Rider Haggard's novel She.

A great series Peter on TV. Leo McKern. Just those eyes great actor. All the great actors can use their facial expressions
to tell a tale with out a word spoken. Leo did just that with hardly a twitch.

The young Morse, Endeavor, played by Shaun Evans is of the same mould.
