Been there, seen that , got the t-shirt watched several sequels and currently working on how to get the next lot through the door during lockdown as I normally get my contraband to come to work first of our very helpful postroom!

HI John, welcome look forward to seeing what you plan to build, I too was an ex service man many years ago, was in the army reserve Australian army.

Take care Tony..

Guess I'm lucky my wife spends more on puzzles, wind spinners and coloring books than I could spend on models for the rest of my life, which since we have been together is "0" until I ran into this gang (bad influence). The numbers are about to change

Bob from up over....... :upside: did that upside down so you could see what it was :hungry:

YES Bobnv Guess I'm lucky as well as my wife spends more on puzzles, wind spinners and coloring books an garden lights our garden looks more like blackpool when it gets dark SO WE ARE LUCKY to have AN EASY GOIN SWMBO :thumb2: ;):smiling:
Chris ps you say Bob until I ran into this gang (bad influence). The numbers are about to change well we are just tryin to keep you normal an happy you should thank us lol ;) :smiling2:

Welcome John!
Last night my wife caught me smoking a cigar and drinking a glass of rum in the garden...if she'd checked my hands for field grey paint it could have been the holy trinity of trouble!

Well thanks a lot........ Now we'll be replacing those too

I am thankful.
After I drug the Cutty down out of the rafters I looked around for a place with information to help me get started again. There are lots of hobby forums around and after reading several of them settled on here for the people as much as the advice I could get. I like to joke around and have a good time along with the serious stuff and not into the nit picky back biting games so felt very comfortable.

WELL Bobnv you should be right at home on here as there is a fair bit of banter goin on now an then along with the serious stuff and not into the nit picky back biting games so you should feel very comfortable on here as they are a great bunch an ive had the back biteing game on another fourum where the green eyed monster was ever present so I don't visit there too much now I just let them bite among them selves

Thought I should introduce myself, been on the forum for a while, but have now taken out a subscription. I’ve been modelling various subjects for nearly 60 years now. I have now got into 1/35 scale armour, which I have been building since 2017. Also interested in model railways, having a loft layout, but I don’t go up there very often now(too old for climbing ladders lol). Also have a garden railway, which is run quite often weather permitting. I also got into RC 1/16 scale tanks through a friend.
