New compressor arrived this morning, does seem smaller and a bit quieter

I replaced mine with one earlier this year, don't forget to let off the pressure after each session to stop the moisture in the tank rusting through, eventually, like my last one did!

I normally switch it off at the wall, disconnect the airbrush and let it bleed out? is that the same thing ?

Hi Steve
If you look at the tank there is a bleed valve for removing moisture at the base. As air is compressed moisture is forced out as condensation so unless you drain it off regularly it will stay in the reservoir.

From Johns' Trumpeter sale-

Going to need a bit of thinking for this brute! - a base deep enough to accommodate a trench. ( Incidentally, it's the most I've paid for a single kit in many years, but I've been looking at this wistfully ever since it came out! )
Dave
Going to be a great kit to build, plenty of parts to think about Dave. Unfortunately all the Russian WW2 stuff that John had I've already got.

Some nice stuff on show there guys...... DAVE,that sure is one BEAST of a machine there Sir!! :dizzy:
Here`s my meagre delivery news, nothing huge, but quality indeed.......

4 sheets of 2.4 mm thick Balsa, just right for joists. Oh happy days a lot less in weight than the real thing !

Hi this lot arrived today for the new bunker.
Hi Pete,
Nice sets there :thumb2:,I have their Italian set and they do look excellent.
I`m almost exclusively a Vallejo man normally,(With a few small exceptions),but seeing these "Life Colour" paints called out for in most instructions,i thought i`d try some for the two Italian AFVs i have.I`d be interested to hear your thoughts on them?!
Andy

Hi Andy I to mostly use Vallejo paints, I hand paint but will let you know how I get on, their rust set is a good one if you haven't got it.
Pete.

The rust and wood sets are very good!
Third one recommending the rust set here……it’s excellent, especially if you tint the results with dark blue to get heat staining…….not tried the wood one though, I just use VJ colours and make it up as I go along!

That kit, when you could have gotten its AFV Club counterpart? :smiling3:
HA!,Yes indeed Jakko!
But have you seen the prices that those go for?.... I got this for £20 delivered;)
A no brainer in my wallet eyes!!..... I like to think that i can do enough on it myself to add some details:thumb2:,
I do see what you mean though!
