Dragon Wagon.

NOT on a base it's on a shelf together with the famo and trailer, and another I can't recall the name of :tongue-out3:

Marty,
Good to see you back again. Enjoy your leave. The great additions to the trailer already. Merry Christmas to you and yours.

Ian,

Both would look amazing on bases, for mine I am planning on making a diorama. I just have to get the confidence up to start it.

Scottie,

Thanks mate and the same to your family. Hopefully the trailer build will be finished tonight and then it just come to finishing the tractor for painting.

Good evening all,

So all I have managed to do is set the chains for the rear ramps instead of using the photoetch set I used some brass rod.
I got the image from an illustrated book I have on dragon wagons I hope it looks ok.
All comments welcome.

jakko,

Thanks for the comment, I honestly don't know what happened there but I posted it about 0230 this morning.

If I had to guess, I’d say you probably clicked the button three times to insert the photo, without realising it. You can always edit the post to remove two of them :)

Jakko,

Thanks for the advice as you can see I have edited it.

So cracking on with the trailer all the PE is done and now working on the front end of the trailer which is all plastic I will post some more pictures shortly.

John, thanks mate I thought the trailer would be quite easy compared to the tractor unit but it has been a bit of a challenge at some points.

As promised some pictures of the finished trailer all it needs now is paint.
There also seems to be quite a bit of stowage for the back of the trailer.20191220_020917.jpg20191220_020741.jpg20191220_020732.jpg

I am at a bit of a morale dilemma do I add all the fittings that are dry fitted at the moment in the bottom two pictures or leave it clean like in the top photo.

Marty

I left mine off and painted then separate, then added them after then weathered around them. I you know what I mean. Things that would be just chucked into the well between the guide rails have been just that. Chucked in!

good evening,

it has been ages since I last managed to get to the bench with three kids it's hard to find time.

I have moved back onto the tractor unit and am now putting on the armoured hatches to the outside and all the other brass fittings to go on i will post pictures in the morning as my little decided i had,had enough modelling time.

It's been over a year since I posted anything, even with Covid going on it's been a really busy period for me with deployments to Lithuania and exercises going on and then to top it off I lost my mojo for quite sometime. I have finally managed to complete the interior of the dragon wagon and I thought I would show it to you guys before I button it up.
I hope you like what I have done.

Marty

Looks great Martyn, loads to look at. How much will you lose when it’s buttoned up?

Hi Martyn
That interior looks excellent. Like Tim I wonder how much will be seen.
