I've been holding off on this as I didn't want to mess it up but the time has come to give it a shot.



Inspired by this picture, though I'm planning a slightly less regular load...



I'm also going to try my hardest not to overdo the wear & tear and go for a bit of light patina. We shall see.

Anyway, I've made a gentle start.

Mini update. I've been painting the track-wheel tyres (not my fave pastime) and started a bit of dirt & dust on the chassis & front tyres,

No rust or caked on filth for this one.

Too much non-modelling going on at the moment, but I managed to get the wheels nearly finished last night.
Hopefully the weather will stay crappy today & I can get some more in.
